Dress Code for Jumeirah Mosque

Kandoora's (Male Emirati National Dress) are offered for men wearing shorts or clothes that don't sufficiently cover to be borrowed to enter the mosque.

Abaya (Female Emirati national dress) and Sheila (head-scarf) are offered for women wearing clothes that don't sufficiently cover to be borrowed to enter the mosque.

The centre offers a hygiene process where all garments are regularly cleaned in the laundry.

Once Upon a Time Museum

Step into Once Upon a Time museum in Dubai and journey through the captivating stories, items and pictures of the 70’s and 80’s.

Explore rare artifacts and vintage items, carefully curated to transport you back in time.

The museum is open daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm except Friday

The Gift Shop

The Jumeirah Mosque Majlis offers a gift shop with wide range of items such as traditional clothing, unique gifts and souvenirs from local business.

The gift shop is open daily from 9:30am until 5:00pm (closed on Fridays).

Mosques of the World Photography Exhibition

'Mosques of the World' Photography Exhibition is brought to you by the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, in association with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural Understanding.

The vibrant exhibited winning and shortlisted photographs from the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA). The exhibition featured 32 works by photographers hailing from 15 countries.

Ali bin Thalith, HIPA Secretary-General, said, “Photography is a powerful medium that allows photographers to speak and communicate with the rest of the world without words. Using that as inspiration, we set out the unique challenge of documenting the beauty of Islamic architecture and mosques to our Instagram community through the HIPA Instagram Photo Contest".

The exhibition is open daily to everyone from 9:30am to 4:00pm except Fridays.

The tour comes with light Emirati refreshments right after registration on site. Be sure to be there at least 30 minutes before the program starts! Refreshments include Arabic coffee, tea, dates, water, and luqaimat.
